Hello NW KFC Franchisees,

As we begin 2009, it’s natural that we reflect back. Without a doubt, 2008 will go down in the history books as a challenging year. The economy, high food and energy costs, remodeling issues and a change in the political landscape all played a part in how the year shaped up. There is no one that is unaffected by all of this. But we are going to do what we have always done…serve the great NW with great meetings and events.

As the 2009 President of the NW KFC Franchisee Association, I look forward to this coming year. Your NW group has much planned for you and your business. Starting in February, we encourage you to attend the AKFCF National Convention in Washington, DC. Then we kick off our world famous NW Spring Seminar April 13-16 in exciting Las Vegas at Harrah’s. Register Now! This July  9-13, we will be in beautiful Sunriver, Oregon for our Summer Board of Director’s meeting. Then to finish up the year we will be on the big island of Hawaii at the exotic Hapuna Resort for our fall seminar October 22-28.

As the year comes to an end we say good bye to our long time Executive Secretary, Pat Walch. We cannot say thank enough to Pat for all she has done for us. But we are also excited to welcome Heidi Robb as our new Executive Secretary. Heidi brings great skills, determination and long time connection to our KFC family. Please join me in helping her feel welcome.
