Welcome to the Northwest KFC Franchisee Association website and 2008.  I would hope all of you take the opportunity to greet and say hello to our Northwest Franchisees newest family members, Jim and Delores Matson from Columbia, MT, and Les and Cindy Nordhagen from Greeley, CO, and Janice Sutherland from Brookings, OR.

 Our Northwest Franchisee Association is hosting two seminars again this year. Our spring event will be held at Harrah’s in Las Vegas on April 12-17, 2008.  The spring seminar always focuses on our RGM’s and area coaches.

Our theme this year is KFC...A Great Place to Work.  Our principal speaker is Bruce Wilkinson.  He will bring great ideas to share with our management staff that will propel our businesses to higher levels.  We hope to challenge our people, raising thought provoking ways to manage our restaurant teams and have fun in the process.  We also look forward to KFC Corporation’s training team sharing their latest programs for 2008.

In October, as a group, we will trek South of the border to the Marriott Casa Magna, Puerto Vallarta, Mexico.  It is located right on the beach and across the street from the quaint and busy Vallarta Marina and the Marina golf course.  We will have a fun filled time, interacting with our vendors and enjoying our families and friends.  The dates for this event are October 23-29, 2008. This is a “can’t miss” event!

2008 will be a challenging year. I know, working together within our own companies as well as sharing our best practices with fellow franchisees in our Northwest Association, we will find the strength to overcome any trials and tribulations that come our way.
